The Country Market is held in the Battle Memorial Hall, in the High Street, Battle. Time 10.00am - 11.15am. The market sells home-grown vegetables and fruit and flowers and home-made produce. Crafts, knitwear and greetings cards are also available.

Autumn Chill 2

Christmas Tree Festival
Location: Battle
(2 day event)
Tree festival will open at 10.30am alongside a Christmas Fair. Over 30 organisations are taking part. There will be music at 14.15pm and 16.00 on Saturday and 15.00 and 16.00 on Sunday. Times: Saturday: 10.30 - 21.00; Sunday 2.15 - 18.30 when there will be an Advent Carol Service. Venue: St Mary's Church, High Street, Battle. For further information contact 01424 774201.

Battle Christmas Lights Turned On
Location: Battle
Father Christmas will arrive accompanied by the Langton Loons and the Kingfisher Band in a parade down the High Street at 14.00. Father Christmas will switch the Battle Christmas lights on by the main Christmas tree on the Abbey Green at 17.00. The well loved Charity Market can be found in the Sheppard Room in the Memorial Hallfrom 14.00 - 16.30. The Saxonwood Women’s Institute will be providing tea, coffee and cakes in the St Valery room of the Memorial Hall from 14.15 – 16.45pm. Father Christmas will see the children in his Magical Grotto in the Memorial Hall. Tickets will be sold from Battle Memorial Foyer from 14.00 on the day with approximate timings to shorten the waiting (£1 to include a present). PLEASE NOTE THAT TICKET NUMBERS ARE LIMITED. Uncle Bumble and Crazy Bumble will entertain with jokes, face painting and balloon animals. There will be aeroplane and teacup rides on the Abbey Green together with a Roasted Chestnut stand.

A Tudor Christmas
Location: Battle

Beckley Woods Conservation Work Party
Location: Beckley
Please come along to Beckley Woods to help cut back the vegetation to create sunny areas for the rare butterflies, whilst enjoying fresh air and superb surroundings. Tea, biscuits and all tools provided. No experience necessary. Entrance is on Horseshoe Lane (come anytime from 9am).

An evening of special events and the shops will stay open until 21.00. An evening of great frun for all the family.
